Topics will include: The idea store, molding characters from lumps of real life, building a roapmap to chaos, how to avoid happily ever after, and many more fun and unique exercises. Capture the unique life stories from your family tree by learning how to write short personal essays in a fun, group environment.  This innovative workshop will give you a road map to navigate through your family history with ease. You will learn how to hone your writing skills in each essay down to their true essence. Everyone has a story that should be passed down to future generations. Adults of all ages, whether they are first-time writers or seasoned wordsmiths are invited to attend.  Weekly topics include idea generation, plot development, character creation, point of view, setting, and more. This course will inspire you to put pen to paper and find that creative spark inside. Who knew writing could be as easy as "mashing ideas" and reading the classifieds? Participants will have fun and learn to write with ease using these exercises and many more. Join us!
